I had a set up like that. I had to switch the cables from Colecovision to my vhs player. I had to turn the knob to change the channel up to the late 80s. My parents were prehistoric lol.

I used to get so pissed off when that happened. The music would play and out of nowhere it would start sounding like Alvin and chipmunks are singing lol. Sometimes the tape couldn’t be saved.

Or finding ketchup! This one time I out my finger through the slot to take back my quarter and I got a big blob of ketchup along with it. I was so grossed out. I almost vomited.
