On this day, October 3, 1980, the slasher horror film Terror Train, directed by Roger Spottiswoode, premiered in theaters! Starring Jamie Lee Curtis, Ben Johnson, and Hart Bochner, this suspenseful thriller set on a moving train had a budget of $4.2 million and grossed $8 million at the box office. Following Halloween, Terror Train solidified Jamie Lee Curtis as a scream queen of the horror genre.
