On this day, October 26, 1988, Annie McGuire premiered on CBS. Starring Mary Tyler Moore and a young Adrien Brody, the series followed the story of Annie, a recently remarried woman balancing her family life with her career. Although Annie McGuire had a promising cast, it only ran for one season with a total of 11 episodes.
