On May 3, 1988, Living Colour released their debut album Vivid, a powerful blend of rock, funk, metal, and soul that immediately set them apart from anything else on the charts. Led by guitarist Vernon Reid and vocalist Corey Glover, the band delivered a bold sound with sharp political and social commentary.
