On this day May 28, 1983, the second US Festival kicked off at Glen Helen Park in San Bernardino, California. Created by Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, the festival was a bold attempt to blend technology and music on a massive scale. Spanning three days, the event brought together some of the biggest names in rock, pop, and heavy metal for one of the most ambitious concert experiences of the decade.
