On this day, October 31, 1980, the sitcom I’m a Big Girl Now premiered on ABC. Starring Martin Short, the show followed the comedic challenges of a divorced father and his grown daughter as they adjusted to living together. Despite its charming cast and humorous premise, I’m a Big Girl Now only ran for one season, with a total of 19 episodes before it was canceled.
