On this day, November 21, 1984, Frank Zappa released his 41st album, Francesco Zappa. This unique work was a tribute to the 18th-century Italian composer of the same name, featuring digital renditions of Francesco Zappa’s chamber music created using the Synclavier, an early digital synthesizer.

Known for his constant innovation, Frank Zappa brought new life to classical music with this album, blending his signature creativity with his appreciation for historical composers. While it stands out as one of his more experimental projects, it showcases his versatility as an artist.
