On this day, October 18, 1982, Foghat dropped their 11th studio album In the Mood for Something Rude. The album reached #162 on the Billboard charts, a departure from their earlier successes in the ’70s. With a sound that mixed rock and blues, Foghat continued to explore new directions, though this album didn’t reach the heights of some of their earlier hits.
