On this day March 1 1987 the final episode of The New Adventures of Jonny Quest aired. The animated series was a revival of the classic 1964 Jonny Quest show bringing the beloved characters back for a new generation.

The series followed Jonny Quest his scientist father Dr. Benton Quest government agent Race Bannon and Jonny’s best friend Hadji as they embarked on action packed adventures filled with mysteries and high tech gadgets. The animation style and storytelling reflected the classic adventure serials that made the original show a cult favorite.
