"Christmas Cheers," the tenth episode of the sixth season of "Cheers," originally aired on December 17, 1987. This episode is a classic example of how the series blended humor with heartfelt moments. In this holiday-themed episode, the gang at Cheers is busy preparing for Christmas, and the bar is bustling with both holiday cheer and the usual shenanigans. Sam Malone, played by Ted Danson, struggles with his gift-giving decisions, while the rest of the bar's patrons and staff engage in their own festive antics.Which 80s holiday episode do you revisit and why. The "Family Ties" Christmas episode you're referring to is likely "A Keaton Christmas Carol," which aired on December 14, 1983. In this memorable episode, Alex P. Keaton, played by Michael J. Fox, experiences his own version of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol." After being visited by the spirits of Christmas past, present, and future, Alex gains a new perspective on the holiday season and learns the importance of family and generosity.I always go back to the Family Ties Christmas episode where Alex shows a softer side. Watching it now brings back memories of sitting on the floor with the tree lights on and the TV glowing in the corner.

The Cheers Christmas episode is still my favorite. That bar always felt familiar and comforting and the holiday episodes made it even more so.
