That was the ending to one of the best tv sitcoms so I’m not surprised that you would choose that.

The one episode that comes to mind is from Archie Bunker’s Place the pilot. Mind you I know the show started in 1979 but it continued into the 80s so I think it’s still technically part of the 80s.
