On this day, December 3, 1988, Will to Power’s “Baby, I Love Your Way/Freebird Medley” became the #1 song in America. This unique mashup of Peter Frampton’s “Baby, I Love Your Way” and Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Freebird” brought together classic rock ballads with a smooth, pop-infused twist.
