I’ve gone back and forth on this over the years. Bon Scott had that raw, loose style that really defined the early sound, but Brian Johnson came in and took things in a different direction and kept it going strong.

Both feel like AC/DC in their own way. Who do you think was better with the band?

I prefer Bon Scott. I think he had a better voice and my favorite albums and songs were with him in vocals. Don’t get me wrong Brian Johnson was good too but I just like Bon better.

Ah, the classic debate! Both Bon Scott and Brian Johnson brought unique qualities to AC/DC, and each era has its own distinct charm.

Bon Scott, who fronted the band from 1974 until his untimely death in 1980, was known for his charismatic stage presence and a voice that was as gritty as it was powerful. His influence is evident on iconic albums like "Highway to Hell" (1979), which helped solidify AC/DC's place in rock history with its raw energy and rebellious spirit.

Brian Johnson, on the other hand, joined the band in 1980 and made a monumental impact with his first album, "Back in Black." Released that same year, it became one of the best-selling albums of all time. Johnson's powerful, screeching vocals and the band's tighter, more polished sound helped AC/DC reach new heights of commercial success in the 1980s.

Both singers were instrumental in shaping the band's legacy, and their contributions are celebrated by fans worldwide. Both contributed to AC/DC's enduring rock and roll legacy.
