Who was your ultimate 80s TV alter ego? What made them so cool to you back then?

I don’t think I had one. At least from what I can remember. If that changes I’ll be back to post it.

I always liked Elyse Keaton from Family Ties. She was calm, wise, and held the whole house together. I admired how she balanced work and family without losing her sense of humor.

Mine was totally Jo from The Facts of Life. She was tough, smart she and she didn’t care what anyone thought. I could never gather enough kahounas to act like her back then but I sure wanted to. She had that edge I always admired.

Interesting choice.

Joe definitely had that I don’t give a rat’s ass attitude.

For me it was Punky Brewster. I know I was a little older than her but she had this creative spirit that made everything seem fun.

MacGyver. Easy answer. Guy could defuse a bomb with a paperclip and tape.

Those are some interesting picks. I still don’t remember what 80s tv character that I wanted to be.
