What 1980s movie deserves a sequel?

I didn’t think anyone would’ve agreed with Monster Squad. I loved that movie

It’s a good movie and a sequel would’ve been pretty interesting.

I liked The Monster Squad. I like Pete’s comparison to the Goonies meets horror.

Another movie that I think deserves a sequel is The Running Man (1987) . So Ben Richards exposed the corrupt government but I wanted and still want to know what happened after? Does he lead a revolution against the system? A sequel could’ve possible shown a new deadlier game with Richards now trying to bring the whole system down.

But we know what happened. The rebels beat the establishment and that was the end.
