No one likes to start topics on her except Pete and that’s because he’s part of the staff so I’m going to break the ice and ask this. What 1980s movie deserves a sequel??? I didn’t have closure with They Live. I want to know what happened after?? Did they kick the aliens’ ass or did they take over?? So many questions!

Thats a great question and you’re right. I asked myself those same questions and I’m sure many fans of the movie did too. I would’ve liked to see a part two. One movie that I would’ve liked to see a sequel for is Big Trouble in Little China. The film ends with Jack Burton driving away unaware that a monster is hiding in his truck. What happens next? Does the mystical world of Lo Pan come back for revenge? A part two would’ve been awesome.

Both would’ve been great if they had sequels. I remember thinking to myself after watching Labyrinth if the main character Sara went back. I wanted a second part to the story.

Interesting. I always assumed that she did go back and this time around David Bowie started singing and dancing to Let’s Dance. Obviously the girl joined in the fun.

Yes! That would’ve been a real good sequel. That monster was Lo Pan 100%.

No that was Lo Pan 100%. He was like a ghost and living so he wasn’t dead.
Perhaps but we’ll never really know what that was. I’m still saying monster not Lo Pan.

That was most certainly a monster. Lo Pan was the leader of the bad guys right? He was finished.

The Monster Squad ! A sequel could’ve brought new monsters or shown the kids growing up and facing a new supernatural threat.

A sequel for The Monster Squad. That would’ve been interesting. The movie was great. It was like The Goonies meets horror.
