On July 9, 1983, Wham! released their debut album Fantastic, which climbed to #83 on the Billboard charts. The album was a massive success in the UK and New Zealand, where it hit #1. Fantastic features the energetic pop hits that launched Wham! to international stardom, including “Young Guns (Go for It!)” and “Wham Rap! (Enjoy What You Do)”. The album’s infectious energy and catchy tunes helped establish George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley as 80s pop icons.
