This is a pretty interesting article that I just finished reading from the website Nightmare Nostalgia. When Chucky came out in 1988 it sent the My Buddy Doll into oblivion. What do you guys and gals think?

I don’t get it. Why would chucky affect the Buddy doll?
 
That shouldn’t come off as a shocker. As a boy would you prefer a serial killer Chucky doll or happy friendly My Buddy doll? Chucky wins.
