"Three Men and a Cradle" (originally titled "Trois hommes et un couffin") is a delightful French comedy directed by Coline Serreau. Released on September 17, 1985, this film captures the humorous chaos that ensues when three bachelors suddenly find themselves responsible for a baby left on their doorstep. The film's engaging plot and charming performances by Roland Giraud, Michel Boujenah, and André Dussollier contributed to its success, leading to a popular American remake, "Three Men and a Baby," in 1987.

The film is celebrated for its comedic take on unexpected parenthood and the transformation of carefree bachelors into caring guardians. Its storyline cleverly intertwines themes of responsibility, friendship, and personal growth, all wrapped in a comedic package. The movie was well-received in France and internationally, becoming a beloved classic of the 1980s cinema.
