What do you guys think? I came across this video on YouTube and I have to say it was spot in! Things really were different for us who grew up in the. 80s. Catching an ass whooping from your parents and even a teacher especially if you went to a private school like they were giving out candy was one of them lol. Surrounded by smokers when you were a kid lol. My parents smoked liked chimneys esp in the family vehicle. In the middle of winter the windows might have had a crack if you were lucky .
Oh lord in this day and age nothing is socially acceptable!!! I was allowed to stay outside on my street till midnight during the summers all the time! My parents weren’t worried because there was always a neighborhood adult outside making sure no stranger came around. The white walls in my house were yellow due to all the smoke. My parents smoked cigarettes all the time. Heck I used to go to the corner store and buy them for parents hahaha!
Times are different now. Society progresses for the most part. Whether it's in a positive or negative way is subjective. Personally I agree with both of you.
