On this day, November 11, 1981, The Buggles released their second and final album, Adventures in Modern Recording. Known for their groundbreaking hit “Video Killed the Radio Star,” this album marked a more experimental approach for the band but didn’t achieve the same level of mainstream success, reaching #161 on the US Billboard 200 charts. Though it was their last album, Adventures in Modern Recording is appreciated by fans for its innovative sound and remains a hidden gem of the ’80s.
