On this day, October 26, 1988, the TV series Tattingers premiered on NBC. Set in an upscale New York City restaurant, the show followed the lives and dramas of its owners and staff. Despite its unique setting and storyline, Tattingers ran for just one season, airing 15 episodes before it was canceled.
