On this day, November 21, 1989, Skinny Puppy released their fifth studio album, Rabies. Known for their industrial and experimental sound, the album marked a collaboration with Al Jourgensen of Ministry, adding a heavier, more guitar-driven edge to their signature style.

Rabies reached #88 in Canada and became a standout in Skinny Puppy’s discography with tracks like “Worlock” and “Tin Omen.” The album’s dark, aggressive tone and politically charged lyrics made it a favorite among fans of the industrial music scene.
