On January 3, 1984, Riptide premiered on NBC. This action-packed detective series followed the adventures of two private investigators, Cody Allen and Nick Ryder, along with their tech-savvy friend Murray “Boz” Bozinsky. Combining mystery, humor, and high-tech gadgets, the show ran for three seasons with a total of 56 episodes.
