On July 3, 1985, the fantasy-adventure film “Red Sonja” premiered in theaters. Directed by Richard Fleischer, the movie stars Brigitte Nielsen in the titular role, alongside Sandahl Bergman, Paul Smith, Ronald Lacey, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Despite its high production budget of $17.9 million, “Red Sonja” struggled at the box office, grossing only $6.9 million.
