I’m sure many from my generation remember this popular movie icon Patrick Swayze. He played in some great films like Red Dawn, the Outsiders, Dirty Dancing and more. Unfortunately passed away back on September 14th 2009. Anyway Mental Floss posted some facts about him. One of them which is pretty cool was that he was supposed to be Danny Zuko for the Broadway play Grease but due to knee issues he lost it. Another fact is that he didn’t cowrite the song She’s Like the Wind for the movie Dirty Dancing. He wrote it for co-wrote it for 1984’s Grandview, USA, a demolition derby comedy featuring him and C. Thomas.
