On this day, October 30, 1985, Pat Benatar released her sixth album, Seven the Hard Way. The album reached #26 on the Billboard charts in the U.S. and climbed to #2 in New Zealand. Featuring the powerful anthem “Invincible,” which was also used in the film The Legend of Billie Jean, the album continued to showcase Benatar’s signature blend of rock and pop, solidifying her status as an ’80s rock icon.
