On this day, December 15, 1985, Hollywood stars Sylvester Stallone and Brigitte Nielsen got married in a high-profile ceremony. The pair starred together in Rocky IV (1985) and Cobra (1986), making them one of the most talked-about couples of the mid-80s.

Unfortunately, the marriage was short-lived, as the couple divorced in 1987 after just two years together. Despite their brief union, their collaboration on-screen remains iconic, particularly Nielsen’s memorable role as Ludmilla Drago in Rocky IV.
