On This Day September 4 1981 – Meatloaf Released the Album Dead Ringer.

On this day September 4 1981, Dead Ringer, the third studio album by Meat Loaf, was released. Following the massive success of Bat Out of Hell, this album reunited Meat Loaf with songwriter Jim Steinman for another round of theatrical rock anthems.

Dead Ringer featured over the top arrangements, passionate vocals, and grand storytelling across tracks like I'm Gonna Love Her for Both of Us...
