On this day October 16, 1981, The Human League released their third album Dare. Featuring the smash hit “Don’t You Want Me,” the album climbed to #3 on the Billboard Charts and topped the charts in the UK, Canada, Sweden, and New Zealand. Dare was instrumental in shaping the synth-pop sound of the 80s and remains a beloved classic.
