On this day May 21, 1984, the animated film B.C. Rock premiered. Directed by Belgian cartoonist and animator Picha, the film featured the voice talents of Jim Vallely, Jonathan Schmock and Joseph Plewa. Set in a prehistoric world, B.C. Rock combined bold animation with rock music and adult-themed satire, drawing comparisons to earlier cult classics like Heavy Metal.
