I remember hearing Sledgehammer on the radio constantly that summer. It was one of those songs that just stuck in your head and the video was so strange but fun. My kids would stop whatever they were doing to watch it. I didn’t know much about Peter Gabriel before that and not that I do now either but this album really made him stand out. It felt different from the usual stuff and in a good way.
 
I remember that too! That video was everywhere and kind of weird in the best way. Peter Gabriel had this cool artsy vibe that made him stand out from everyone else. In Your Eyes, Red Rain, Sledgehammer and Big Time were so catchy. I had that tape in my Walkman for a while.
 
So is a great one. The song Don’t Get Up is real good too.
