On this day May 19, 1989, the cult action classic Road House premiered in theaters. Directed by Rowdy Herrington, the film starred Patrick Swayze as Dalton, a mysterious and skilled bouncer hired to clean up the Double Deuce, a rowdy bar in a small Missouri town.
