On this day May 10, 1988, the final episode of Dolly, Dolly Parton’s prime time variety show, aired after one season and 22 episodes. The show featured musical performances, comedy sketches, celebrity guests, and plenty of Dolly’s signature charm and rhinestones. It was her second attempt at a variety format after her first show in the 70s.
