On May 1, 1989, Pop Will Eat Itself released their second album This Is the Day...This Is the Hour...This Is This! Known for their genre-blending sound, the band mixed elements of rock, hip hop, punk, and electronic music to create something that felt completely fresh and ahead of its time.
