n this day March 4 1983 the Canadian slasher film Curtains premiered in theaters all over the US. Directed by Richard Ciupka the movie starred John Vernon and Linda Thorson in a chilling tale of murder suspense and psychological horror set in the world of acting and filmmaking.

The film followed a group of actresses invited to a secluded mansion to audition for a coveted movie role only to find themselves being stalked and murdered one by one. Curtains stood out from typical slasher films...
