On this day March 25 1982 the final episode of Bosom Buddies aired on ABC. The sitcom starred Tom Hanks and Peter Scolari as Kip and Henry two creative professionals who disguised themselves as women in order to live in an affordable all female apartment building.

The show ran for 2 seasons with a total of 37 episodes. Known for its clever premise and strong chemistry between the leads Bosom Buddies helped launch Tom Hanks’ career and became a cult favorite after its original run.
