On this day March 22 1985 Friday the 13th A New Beginning premiered in theaters. Directed by Danny Steinman the fifth installment in the iconic horror franchise starred Melanie Kinnaman John Shepard and Shavar Ross with Tom Morga portraying Jason Voorhees.
