On this day June 8, 1984, Ghostbusters hit theaters and with it came one of the most iconic movie theme songs of all time. Ray Parker Jr.'s Ghostbusters theme would go on to top the US Billboard charts from August 11 through August 31, becoming a cultural sensation all its own.
