On this day June 30, 1986, the Eurythmics released their fifth studio album Revenge, marking a return to a more guitar driven rock sound after the electronic experimentation of earlier records. Led by the duo of Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart, the album became one of their biggest commercial successes of the decade.
