On this day June 24, 1981, the James Bond film For Your Eyes Only premiered in theaters. Directed by John Glen and starring Roger Moore as 007, the movie returned the franchise to a more grounded and serious tone following the over the top style of Moonraker. The story followed Bond as he raced to recover a stolen British missile command system before it fell into enemy hands.
