On this day June 13, 1988, the short lived sitcom Blue Skies premiered on CBS. The series aired only one season with a total of just 3 episodes before being pulled from the schedule. Set at a family owned hotel in Palm Springs, the show attempted to blend light comedy with quirky characters and sunny settings, but it failed to find an audience.
