On this day June 10, 1985, Bob Dylan released his twenty third studio album Empire Burlesque. Known for its glossy production and embrace of synthesizers and drum machines, the album marked Dylan’s attempt to align his songwriting with the dominant pop rock sound of the mid 80s.
