On this day February 25 1980 Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band released Against the Wind their eleventh studio album and one of the most successful records of Seger’s career. The album quickly rose to the top of the US Billboard 200 where it held the number one spot and eventually sold over five million copies in the United States alone.
