On This Day: February 14, 1984 Joe Perry and Brad Whitford Rejoined Aerosmith.

On this day, February 14, 1984, former Aerosmith members Joe Perry and Brad Whitford attended an Aerosmith concert and made the decision to officially rejoin the band. Their return marked the beginning of a new era for the legendary rock group and led to the Back in the Saddle reunion tour, reuniting the classic lineup of Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton, and Joey Kramer.

Perry had left the band in 1979, forming The Joe Perry Project, while Whitford departed in 1981...
