On April 28, 1989, the supernatural horror film The Horror Show was released in theaters. Directed by James Isaac, the movie starred Lance Henriksen as Detective Lucas McCarthy, a man haunted by the vengeful spirit of a serial killer he helped capture, played by Brion James.
