This is how we used to look to see what time a movie would start at the cinema during the 80s. There was also the newspaper too but calling was more convenient.
That‘s how it was for us growing up in the 80s. You either called for the show times, bought the paper or just took the chance by going to the the movie theater and hope a movie you like starts soon. The struggle was real .
I grew up in a small town with one movie theater. I would get the times from the theater itself. I lived next to the main street where the movie theater was so it was very easy for me to find out the times.
