Starring the legendary comedian Redd Foxx, the sitcom followed the life of Al Hughes, a cantankerous proprietor of a small neighborhood newspaper. The show blended Foxx’s sharp humor and wit with heartfelt moments, showcasing his iconic comedic style.

Despite its promise and Foxx’s star power, the series only ran for one season, producing 13 episodes before it was canceled. Nevertheless, it remains a part of Foxx’s rich legacy in television and comedy.
