marshmallow man ghostbusters GIF

Apparently the infamous Marshmallow Man wasn’t made of marshmallows. All this time we were lied to. All jokes aside, did you ever wonder how they made the Marshmallow man for the Ghostbusters movie? Back then Hollywood didn’t have cgi effects and instead relied on practicall effects and that’s what they did. They made the Marshmallow Man by using around 100lbs of shaving cream, lots of marshmallow suits and four puppeteers. That took some creativity to do. Talking about thinking outside the box. Can you imagine today’s generation having to rely on practical effects? They’d lose their minds.
