Back then Hollywood didn’t have cgi effects and instead relied on practicall effects and that’s what they did. They made the Marshmallow Man by using around 100lbs of shaving cream, lots of marshmallow suits and four puppeteers. That took some creativity to do. Talking about thinking outside the box. Can you imagine today’s generation having to rely on practical effects? They’d lose their minds.
